About the trip

Egypt does not reveal itself to tourists. It opens for the ones who arrive ready to listen.

For thirteen nights, you move through a living temple. River, underworld, desert, and pyramid, walked in the sequence the ancients intended, each one a chamber in a larger initiation. This is not a tour of monuments behind ropes. It is a passage.

Breath is the thread running through all of it. Temple activations give way to guided breathwork, then shared reflection, then the next threshold. Memory awakens. The body activates. Something deeper reconnects.

You travel with Ohana, breath facilitators who hold the inner work, alongside Egypt guides who know this land as home. And you do not travel alone. The people beside you become part of the experience, each arriving with something to give and leaving with something received.

By the end, the land is no longer a backdrop behind you. It has become part of the initiation, and part of you.

  • Day 1 to 2: Cairo, The Threshold

Two nights in Cairo to ground and orient before heading south. The journey opens here, among the first pyramids and the chambers beneath the earth. Sites include Saqqara and the Serapeum, the Red and Bent Pyramids at Dahshur, and Memphis. This leg also includes the opening circle and the first guided breathwork session.

Day 3 to 4: Luxor, Activation

Fly south into Upper Egypt for two nights in Luxor. On the West Bank you walk the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, then visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. A guided breathwork session is included.

Day 5: Dendera and Abydos, Heart and Underworld

Travel north from Luxor for one night in Abydos, moving through two distinct energies. At Dendera you enter the Temple of Hathor, then continue to Abydos to visit the Temple of Seti I and the Osireion, one of the quieter and more sacred sites on the route.

Day 6 to 8: The Nile, Surrender

Board a traditional Dahabiya for three nights on the river, where the pace softens and the landscape widens. Stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu, with silent sailings, sunrise and sunset ceremonies, and onboard guided breathwork.

Day 9 to 10: White Desert, The Void

Two nights in a desert camp under open sky, away from the city and distraction. Time here is given to a fire circle, deep breathwork under the stars, and silence and integration.

Day 11 to 14: Cairo, The Seal

Return to Cairo for three nights to close the journey where it began. Visits to Khan El Khalili market, the Great Pyramid, and the Sphinx, followed by a closing circle, final integration, and departure.

  • What your own body does once you stop performing. The journey is built as a descent. It slows you down on purpose, strips the signal away in the desert, and asks you to sit inside the kind of silence most travel is designed to fill. The monuments are not the test. The space between them is, and so is whatever surfaces when you finally stop moving.

  • Every Loka journey is a production. An award winning documentary photographer travels with the group, so the photographs are made, not collected. A film takes shape inside the trip. Essays are written from the road. The story outlasts the journey itself. You are not the audience. You are part of the record.
