Somewhere along the way we started watching our lives instead of living them.

Loka (लोक) - A plane of existence shaped by the consciousness of those within it. Most of us are living in one that is smaller than it should be.

​

Not because the world got smaller. Because nobody showed us it was larger.

​

 

There is a specific kind of person who went too deep into something extraordinary and couldn't stop. They are everywhere. In every city, every discipline, every corner of the world where someone followed a question further than was comfortable and came out the other side seeing differently.

The person at the dinner table who makes you feel like the world just got larger. Who says one thing about one subject and suddenly you're asking questions you didn't know you had.

​

Most people will never enter their world. Not because it isn't reachable. Because nobody opened the door to bring you inside.

 

That door is what Loka builds.

Not every idea becomes a production. Not every obsessive becomes an author. The ones that do have something that can't be manufactured. A thesis that couldn't exist without them. A place that becomes a character. A question the traveler couldn't have asked before they arrived. You feel that difference the moment you enter.

 

Most of us are living in a Loka that is smaller than it should be.
