About the trip

Egypt does not reveal itself to tourists. It opens for the ones who arrive ready to listen.

For ten nights, you move through a living temple. River, underworld, desert, and pyramid, walked in the sequence the ancients intended, each one a chamber in a larger initiation. This is not a tour of monuments behind ropes. It is a passage.

Breath is the thread running through all of it. Temple activations give way to guided breathwork, then shared reflection, then the next threshold. Memory awakens. The body activates. Something deeper reconnects.

You travel with Ohana, breath facilitators who hold the inner work, alongside Egypt guides who know this land as home. And you do not travel alone. The people beside you become part of the experience, each arriving with something to give and leaving with something received.

By the end, the land is no longer a backdrop behind you. It has become part of the initiation, and part of you.

  • I first visited the sacred sites of Egypt as a child, and ever since, I have carried a deep connection to this land and a longing to return when the time was right. For years, I couldn't explain why—and perhaps I still can't fully, but I know, there is something there that calls me to remember.

As I continued on my own path of learning and inner exploration, I began to understand why Egypt is a profoundly transformational place. Its ancient temples are more than just monuments, they are sacred spaces that invite us into life changing activations by inviting us to reconnect with ourselves, awaken our dormant gifts and creativity, to remember the essence of who we are.
This journey has been designed as more than a trip through Egypt. Through visits to these extraordinary sites interwoven with breathwork in an intimate size group, my intention was to create space for deep initiations and inner shifts.

To help facilitate our journey, will be guided by local Egyptians whose families have walked the Sufi path for generations and who have an intimate relationship with this land, offering us a unique and deeply respectful perspective on Egypt's lesser-known mystical history and ancient wisdom.

We will gather during the days leading up to the Winter Solstice—an energetically powerful season, that has been honoured since ancient times, as a portal for letting go old cycles and birthing new ones, making it a beautiful moment to embark on this shared journey, shortly before we close this year.

It would be an honour to share this experience with you. I hope this journey becomes not only an exploration of Egypt's timeless beauty, but also a journey of remembrance—of the wisdom, creativity, and inner knowing that already live within each of us. I can't wait to welcome you.

  • Day 1 to 2: Luxor and Dendera, The Opening

The journey begins in Luxor, ancient Waset, where you board a private wooden Dahabeya and sail north. Day one holds the airport transfer, embarkation, opening circle, and a sunset sail on the Nile. Day two brings Dendera and the sanctuary of Hathor, goddess of joy and cosmic sound, including the roof chapels, the astronomical ceilings, and the descent into the stone crypts.

Day 3 to 4: Karnak and the West Bank, Activation

Two days among the monumental architecture of Luxor, accompanied by local wisdom keepers carrying generations of Sufi tradition. You walk the Hypostyle Hall at Karnak and enter the hidden inner chapel of Sekhmet, then rise for sunrise at Hatshepsut's mortuary temple and the West Bank Hathor shrine before the boat turns south.

Day 5 to 6: El Kab and Kom Ombo, Stillness

Sailing upriver, the route leaves the standard circuit. At El Kab you disembark into desert quiet among mudbrick ruins and cliff tombs, far from the crowds. At Kom Ombo you enter a rare dual temple above the river, divided symmetrically between Sobek and Horus, instinct and intuition, with its twin corridors and ancient surgical reliefs.

Day 7: Philae and Aswan, Rebirth

A small boat carries you across the Nile to Philae Island, sanctuary of Isis, mother of magic and rebirth. You explore the colonnades, the inner sanctuary chambers, and the Isis Gate.

Day 8 to 9: Abu Simbel and Cairo, The Crossing

Overland across the Nubian desert to Abu Simbel, where the colossal sun temples of Ramses II and Nefertari stand above Lake Nasser, followed by the evening Sound and Light show. The next morning brings sunrise over the lake, transfer to Aswan, a flight north to Cairo, and a boutique hotel for the final nights.

Day 10 to 11: Giza and the Great Pyramid, Initiation

The journey peaks on the Winter Solstice. Daylight hours on the Giza Plateau and at the Sphinx, then private entry into the Great Pyramid after public hours for a chamber initiation in the King's Chamber. The following morning holds the closing circle, a farewell breakfast, and transfers to Cairo airport.

    • Smiles. Bring your own.

  • This trip is for people who want Egypt as more than sightseeing. Eleven days, a group of eight to thirteen, moving between temple sites and along the Nile with guided breathwork running through it as daily practice rather than a novelty. No experience needed, but an openness to it matters, because it's the spine of the trip rather than an add-on. It suits travellers who'd rather move slowly through fewer places than tick off a list, who are comfortable in a small group for eleven days, and who come to be changed rather than entertained.

  • December in Egypt is mild by day and cool once the sun drops. You'll be walking a lot in the heat, then on a boat at night. Layers.

    Essentials

    • Loose, breathable clothing for temple days

    • Comfortable shoes you can walk all day in. This matters more than anything else on the list.

    • A scarf or shawl that covers your shoulders for temple sites

    • Something warmer for evenings on the boat and early mornings

    • Sun cream, sunglasses, and a hat

    • Refillable water bottle

    • Something you can lie down comfortably in for the breathwork sessions, plus a layer to add once you cool down

    • Personal first aid and anything you take regularly

    Worth bringing

    • A light day bag for temple days

    • Power bank

    • Wet wipes and hand sanitiser

    • Swimwear

    • Something to write in. Most people want it after the breathwork.

    • Cash in small notes for personal tipping and extras

    Leave at home

Heavy luggage. There's an internal flight between Aswan and Cairo, so pack to a weight you're happy carrying.

  • Getting there. International flights aren't included. Internal flights between Aswan and Cairo are, along with private air-conditioned ground transport and boat transfers.

Visas. The Egyptian entry visa costs $30 USD and isn't included in the trip price.

Insurance. Travel insurance is required for this trip and isn't included.

Tipping. Tips for hotels, drivers, temple guards, boat crew and guides are already covered. Personal tipping is up to you.

Breathwork. Guided throughout. No experience needed, and most people arrive having never done it.

Weather. December is Egypt's mild season. Warm in the sun, genuinely cool once it drops, especially on the water at night.
